A great affordable option in Summit County. No frills but very clean rooms with friendly, helpful and hospitable staff. My wife and young daughters were even able to get an early check-in after they dropped me off to MTB. When we are passing through the area, the New Summit Inn will be our first choice.
Be advised, there is no elevator if stairs present an issue.

Nice and cozy inn with reasonable prices. The rooms were clean and the heater was warm enough to dry all of our clothes. The hot tub is sadly only operated seasonly, starting in December. The breakfeast consisted of Coffe and Danish, with no other options available.

Excellent stay! Rooms clean, staff very accommodating. We were able to do laundry and get danishes for Breakfast. Walkable to Safeway and some restaurants.

It's dated, for sure, but very clean and mostly quiet. I say, "mostly" because being on the first floor means you hear every step the room above you takes. That's my only complaint, but was no big deal because it did not happen late into the night.
Otherwise, it was great. I would 100% choose it again. Ultimately, that's probably the biggest endorsement one could give.

Atrocious customer service. The experience really was not bad until the morning of checkout. We had two minor complaints. First, that there was an earwig found in the sheets of my bed which bit me while I was trying to fall asleep. Second, the bed was not very comfortable since the mattress was not very soft. Since we paid over $150 for the room we figured that we would mention these things to the front desk attendant, Maria. She seemed nice enough the night before. But she immediately became defensive and combative and was kind of ridiculing us for even complaining about it. All we were hoping for was a simple response of “sorry to hear that, we will look into it” but instead Maria told us “this is the mountains, do you even live in Colorado?” She basically told me I was being a baby and refused to apologize. For that reason alone I am writing this review. Thankfully she must have spoken to her boss because they did reach out afterwards and refund the stay in full. However that wasn’t our goal. All we wanted was someone to change the sheets. It’s too bad, I appreciate the owner refunding us but unfortunately I absolutely will never be staying here again. This all happened at 7AM so it was not a great start to the day.

The only good thing to say about this place is the location. Easy in and out. Air conditioning didn't work. The beds felt like you were sleeping on a sheet of drywall.
And the desk staff didn't care about the air conditioning not working at all. Not a good place.

For the price you can't beat this place. It's super clean and the bed is big and comfortable. The room has plenty of space especially if there are 2 of yall. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the Friso area.

If you want a clean, comfortable, friendly budget hotel, this is the one. Absolutely fantastic. Sure, it's dated. If you want fancy, spend more. If you want a great place to spend the night ten minutes from Breckenridge for under $100, this is your spot.
